✅ Hold a Bachelor’s degree in ANY area plus 32 hours of content area coursework from a regionally accredited institution
✅ Pass the applicable licensure content test
✅ Submit ISBE Form 83-88 (district must maintain a weekly mentoring and coaching log)

On April 17th, ROE39 had the honor of hosting Michelle Denault, who bravely shared her personal story of surviving sexual grooming during her high school years. Educators from Milligan Academy, Futures Unlimited and surrounding schools participated in the workshop to deepen their understanding of how to distinguish healthy, supportive mentoring from classic predatory behaviors. Michelle’s courage in sharing her experience sparked vital conversations about student safety, trust, and the role we all play in protecting young people. Thank you, Michelle, for your bravery and powerful voice. 💙
