Reminder:
All Short-Term Approval (STA) applications were temporarily removed from the ELIS application wizard on Wednesday, July 1.

The proposed Part 25 rules include an extension of the June 30, 2026 application deadline for Short-Term Approvals. Once those rules are formally adopted, the STA applications will be restored to the application wizard.

We anticipate the rules will be finalized within the next month.

Any STA or STE application that was applied for dated June 30th or prior will still be honored by ISBE.
