🌞All items are free in the store. Some items will have limits on how many you can take.
🌞Exclusive access to special events hosted by Sunshine Supplies for Teachers. This will include educator nights in their "Classroom" and lots of laughter, smiles, and sunshine!
🌞Retail value of just one shopping trip at Sunshine Supplies for Teachers is valued at $250 or more...and you will get to shop at least 10 times a school year! That is $2,500 worth of items for your classroom...for FREE.
🌞Your shopping adventure will be so much FUN! Some items they will always have on hand, such as pencils, crayons, markers, pens, erasers, notebook paper, etc. Other items are considered specialty items. So, you never know what you will find on the shelves when you visit.
🌞They have a wide variety of items, spanning the many needs of every classroom/grade level/school district. From pencils to cookware, labels to laptops, personal hygiene to lysol wipes and cleaning supplies, they have a wide variety of AWESOME things!
The Regional Crisis Response & Reunification team had the opportunity to present their work at the 60th Annual IASA (Illinois Association of School Administrators) Conference this week in Springfield. The session titled, "Developing a Mutual Aid Network to Standardize Reunification Protocols," covered the collaborative work of emergency management services, local law enforcement, fire and rescue teams, and district superintendents within Regional Office of Education #39. A special thanks to Mary Vogt, Superintendent of Bement CUSD #5, for leading the presentation, and thank you to our presenters, Mindy McGuire, Principal at Meridian CUSD #15, Mark Vogelzang, Piatt County Sheriff, Lt. Erik Ethell with the Decatur Police Department, and Jill Reedy, Regional Superintendent of Schools. Thank you to all of the additional team members who attended the presentation to show their support! #IASA

The Regional Crisis Response and Reunification Team, comprised of local school administrators/staff, law enforcement, fire, and emergency management, has been meeting and planning for over two years now to coordinate our school safety plans and to standardize our response methods. We recently had the opportunity to bring in Jason Kelley, a retired law enforcement office and instructor with the "I Love U Guys Foundation", for a full-day training on the Standard Response Protocol and Standard Reunification Method. The training prepared the team to go out and train members of their organizations on the standardized methods. The safety of our area students is a priority, and we will continue to train and plan knowing that we are stronger together.
